Let yourself be carried away: a voyage of discovery awaits you! On arrival at the airport, your private driver will give you a warm welcome and take you to your hotel. Once you've settled in, you'll set off to discover the emblematic districts of Buenos Aires.
In La Boca, admire the colorful facades and bohemian atmosphere. In San Telmo, the cobblestone streets and flea market are just waiting to be discovered as you stroll along. Then plunge into the hustle and bustle of Palermo, where nightlife and art galleries attract culture lovers. In Puerto Madero, skyscrapers and high-end restaurants are explored by visitors in search of modernity.
End the day with a tango show in one of the city's iconic clubs.
In the early morning, your private driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Salta. On arrival, an agent will hand you the keys to your vehicle.
As soon as you start your journey, the magic of the north-west takes hold: cultivated fields stretch across rolling hills, while in the distance, the relief of the Cordillera Oriental appears on the horizon. Salta, perched at an altitude of 1,200 metres, welcomes you with its lively squares and buildings steeped in history, reflecting the province's cultural and architectural evolution.
Stroll through the covered market, where stalls brimming with fruit and vegetables awaken the senses, then discover Andean heritage with a visit to the Museum of High Mountain Archaeology (MAAM), dedicated to the fascinating Inca culture.
After breakfast, you'll set off on a beautiful journey, pausing to admire the scenery.
The journey begins by crossing the magnificent Quebrada de Escoipe valley, with its lush green forests. Further on, a pass at an altitude of over 3,660 meters is crossed before reaching the Encantado Valley, nestled in the heart of Los Cardones Park, famous for its immense cacti.
The park is explored at your own pace, with a must-see stop at Mirador Piedra de Molino, perched at over 3,300 metres, offering breathtaking panoramic views. The impressive Recta de Tin Tin, a long straight stretch through the park, is climbed before Cachi, at an altitude of 2,500 metres, is finally reached.
This charming village is easy to visit on foot, with its old buildings, narrow streets and museum retracing the history of the indigenous communities and the colonial era.
On this new day of discovery, you drive to Cafayate, in the heart of the Calchaquíes valleys.
On the way, a stop is made at Seclantás, renowned for its weavers perpetuating ancestral skills, then at Molinos, where small churches with their old-world charm bear witness to the region's rich colonial past. Further on, you'll cross the spectacular Quebrada de Las Flechas to admire its white rock formations in sloping strata, formed 15 to 20 million years ago.
Finally, Cafayate is reached, a small town nestled at an altitude of 1,660 metres, set against the foothills of the Andes mountain range and surrounded by vast vineyards. Renowned for its high-altitude wines, notably Torrontés, it boasts cellars, arid landscapes and quiet, sun-drenched streets.
Leaving Cafayate to the south, a trail leads to the remains of Quilmes, an ancient fortified village built by the Quilmes Indians on a hill. This archaeological site is a symbol of indigenous resistance to the Spanish conquest, and reveals a series of terraces, stone walls and ruins that tell the story of this vanished civilization.
The itinerary continues to Bodega Piattelli, where a tasting awaits you. The valley's dry soils favor special vine development, producing rare grapes with a unique aromatic richness. You'll discover wines that perfectly reflect local know-how, sublimating the characteristics of the region's terroir and climate.
On to Salta, with a crossing just as spectacular as the day before. The Quebrada de Las Conchas, an impressive canyon covering over 35,000 hectares, is dotted with striking geological formations and natural sculptures, ranging in hue from ochre to green.
It's also a great opportunity to observe many birds, such as parrots nesting in the imposing cracks of the cliffs, surises along the runway, while birds of prey fly overhead, scanning the horizon for prey.
Early in the morning, you're off to immerse yourself in the Valle del Toro. The track follows the old route of the legendary "cloud train", taking you through tunnels, bridges and viaducts that bear witness to a remarkable feat of engineering.
You reach San Antonio de Las Cobres, a village perched at an altitude of 3,700 metres, where the air becomes thinner and the landscapes wider. A little further north is the La Polvorilla viaduct, considered one of the most impressive engineering constructions of the last century.
In the afternoon, climb aboard the cloud train for a trip to the Mirador de la Polvorilla, culminating at over 4,200 meters. Take a thirty-minute break at the viewpoint before descending to San Antonio de Las Cobres.
At the end of the day, you take your vehicle back to Salta, your eyes filled with the colors and landscapes of the Andes.
In the morning, head north for an escapade to the Salinas Grandes, a vast expanse of salt nestled at an altitude of over 4,000 metres.
Stretching over almost 1,000 square kilometers, this white desert reveals a horizon where sky and land seem to merge in an astonishing play of light. Observe the fauna specific to this extreme environment: Andean flamingos with pink plumage contrasting with the immaculate white, and elegant vicuñas roaming the edges of this frozen sea.
The expedition continues with a stop at Purmamarca, home to the famous Seven Colours mountain, a natural palette of ochre, red and green tones that perfectly illustrates the different geological eras.
Your day ends in Tilcara, a village where Andean traditions and mountain landscapes create an atmosphere conducive to cultural immersion.
Your Andean adventure continues today with an exploration of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a valley steeped in history and culture.
Your vehicle takes you through impressive scenery, leading you to typical indigenous villages such as Humahuaca, Maimara and Tilcara, with its Inca period fort.
Each stage immerses you in local life and gives you a glimpse of traditional architecture. It's also an opportunity to discover spectacular natural sites, such as Hornocal Mountain and the painter's palette, where the play of light sublimates the reliefs, bringing out their colors and contours.
From your hotel in Tilcara, you drive south to Salta airport to return your vehicle. You then board a flight to Puerto Iguazú, in the northeast of the country. On arrival, a private transfer takes you directly to your hotel, giving you time to settle in and acclimatize to the subtropical heat.
In the afternoon, head for Iguazú National Park, to immerse yourself in the world of the surrounding subtropical jungle. The park's exceptional flora and fauna await you: exotic birds, brightly-colored butterflies and rare orchids.
Your day begins with a visit to the famous Iguazú Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984.
You start with the upper circuit in the company of an English-speaking guide, a walk along landscaped paths leading to a breathtaking panorama of the falls. Then you continue with the lower circuit, a walk on footbridges that take you to the foot of the falls.
A small train takes you to La Garganta del Diablo station. From here, you follow a 1,200-metre trail to admire the site's most imposing waterfall, the Garganta del Diablo.
In the afternoon, a 5 km guided excursion through the forest leads to a boat for a trip on the Iguazú River. The Tres Mosqueteros and San Martín waterfalls are then approached up close, with the option of disembarking on the lower footbridges or returning to Puerto Macuco for an additional drive.
For your last day at Iguazú Falls, you join your English-speaking guide for a visit, this time on the Brazilian side. After crossing the border, a minibus takes you to the footbridges offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Iguazú River, San Martin Island and imposing falls such as El Bosset, San Martín and Tres Mosqueteros. At the end of the route, you have a spectacular view of the Garganta del Diablo, just 150 metres away on the Argentine side.
On the way back, you can take a free tour of the Bird Park. This park is home to a wide variety of exotic species, some of which are endemic to the Iguazú rainforest region. You can stroll along well-maintained paths through the jungle, admiring the birds that fly freely in vast net aviaries. These aviaries have been specially designed to recreate natural habitats, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves.
After a pleasant breakfast in Puerto Iguazú's characteristic tropical atmosphere, a private transfer takes you to the bus terminal. The 5-hour journey takes you to Posadas. The capital of the province of Misiones, bordered by the Paraná River, lies close to the border with Paraguay.
On arrival, a second private transfer welcomes you and drops you off at your hotel. Settle in and relax. You're about to discover a city marked by the cultural influence of the indigenous Guaraní and Paraguayan peoples.
This richness is reflected in the local markets, the traditional cuisine and the many festivities that punctuate city life.
This day takes you across the border. Meet up with your guide and explore one of Paraguay's most famous Jesuit missions: the Jesuit Missions of Trinidad.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historic mission was founded by the Society of Jesus in the 17th century, with the aim of evangelizing and educating the local tribes who were resisting the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors.
You'll take a private transfer to the Iberá Reserve, housed in one of the hotels located in the heart of one of Argentina's richest and most preserved ecosystems. Entrance fees are included, so you can take full advantage of the site.
This vast wetland area, bordered by the Paraná River, is a veritable sanctuary for biodiversity. You'll have the opportunity to observe exceptional wildlife, including yacaré caimans, swamp deer and capybaras. The reserve is also home to numerous species of birds, including herons, ibises and egrets.
From the hotel, nestled on the banks of the Río Paraná, you have access to a range of activities to suit your every whim. On foot, on horseback or by bike, explore trails lined with yatay palms and immense trees where wild orchids cling.
Aboard a boat, glide over the calm waters of the lagoons, watching the wildlife come to life at sunset. The more adventurous can paddle a kayak through the aquatic vegetation, while lovers of idleness will enjoy the peaceful setting of the establishment, between lush gardens and breathtaking views of the river.
After a final tropical breakfast, your private driver will take you to Posadas airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, a private transfer takes you to your hotel, ideally located to immerse you in the hustle and bustle of Argentina's capital.
You continue your exploration of the city by discovering some of its most emblematic landmarks, such as the Teatro Colón, considered one of the world's greatest opera houses, the Casa Rosada overlooking the Plaza de Mayo, or the National Museum of Fine Arts, whose galleries house masterpieces by great European and Latin American masters.
At the end of the day, let yourself be carried away by the lively atmosphere of the streets of Recoleta or San Telmo, where historic cafés, artisan markets and tango musicians give rhythm to local life.
Enjoy a final morning in the Argentine capital with a hot café porteño or maté, accompanied by a medialuna. Then, depending on your flight schedule, your private driver will take you to the international airport for your return.
These 3 weeks will have enabled you to explore a range of unique natural spaces and cultures; a sensory adventure where contrasts, colors and flavors mingle to leave an unforgettable mark!
