Terms and Conditions
1. Bookings
Bookings must be addressed to Korke SpA, referred to as Korke in this agreement, via email or by mail to the following address:

Bookings will only be validated upon confirmation of availability for the selected trip and receipt of payment of 40% of the total trip amount.
2. Cancellations
Cancellations must be sent to Korke by email at voyages@korke.com or by registered mail to Korke SpA, Antonio Bellet 143, oficina 204, Providencia, Chile, and will only be taken into account from the day of receipt.
In the event of cancellations and/or booking modifications, Korke reserves the right to apply the following fees:
- More than 30 days before departure: 40%
- 30 days or less before departure: 100%
Any modification by the client during their trip or the waiver of certain services cannot be subject to a refund.
Korke shall not be held liable for failure to check in or for clients not presenting themselves at the departure point for air travel or at the beginning of their ground program, caused by:
- Delay in air, rail or ground transportation or pre-transportation, even if it results from force majeure, fortuitous event or the act of a third party
- Non-presentation of identification and/or health documents required for travel or presentation of invalid or expired documents
Cancellation of air transport tickets: The refund amount will be made in accordance with and up to the general conditions specified above.
Refund in case of No Shows: No Shows do not give rise to any refund.
3. Safety
Korke will ensure your safety and comfort during your stay. If, for reasons beyond our control, Korke is forced to make a modification to one of the essential or non-essential elements of the tour, Korke undertakes to provide you with an equivalent service. However, Korke cannot assume responsibility for services provided by third parties.
4. Insurance
Assistance insurance, repatriation, medical expenses abroad, trip interruption, accident and civil liability abroad are not included. Medical repatriation insurance is mandatory for this trip. Force Majeure cases include all types of war, threats of war, states of emergency, strikes, riots, terrorist risks, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, fires, weather conditions, water levels, technical assistance with carriers, airport closures or any incident are beyond our responsibility.
5. Luggage and Personal Effects
Please note that luggage weight is limited to 23 kg per person (sometimes 15 kg on certain Aerolineas Argentinas flights), plus one small piece of hand luggage. On certain charter flights, luggage weight is limited to 15 kg. Korke's liability cannot be engaged in case of additional costs for excess weight, loss or damage to luggage.
6. Visa, Passports, Vaccination and International Driving Permit
Please ensure that you have made arrangements to complete health and administrative formalities, and their completion deadlines. We recommend consulting travel guides as well as contacting the Visa and Passport Service of the nearest consulate.
7. Single Room Accommodation
Whenever possible, Korke will ensure that the rooms requested at the time of booking are respected; however, if it is not possible to provide the requested rooms, Korke reserves the right to provide rooms of the same standard. Please note that single rooms always represent an additional cost.
8. Accommodation in the Same Hotel for Groups
If you wish, and whenever possible, Korke will ensure that you are accommodated with your family or friends in the same hotel. However, due to unavailability, it is possible that you may be accommodated in different establishments.
9. Civil and Professional Liability
Korke acts as an agent and cannot be held responsible in case of any loss, theft, damage to your personal effects, delay or cancellation by a third party during the trip. Korke and its staff members cannot be held liable for any accident, delay, injury, or death of travelers due to accidents or breakdowns. To ensure your comfort and safety, Korke expressly reserves the right to modify certain elements of the tour: the itinerary, visits, excursions and other services. These are subject to modification without prior notice if Korke deems it necessary. Korke undertakes to provide equivalent services. In this case, the purchaser may not bring a claim against Korke for non-performance or poor performance of the contract. In case of illness, or aggravated incompatibility with the rest of the group, Korke reserves the right to cancel or modify a traveler's stay. In this case, the traveler cannot claim any refund.
10. Wild Animals
We draw your attention to the fact that during your stay, we will travel through regions with wild animals. Korke, or any of its staff members, cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury related to travelers' imprudence.
11. Payment & Confirmation
a) General Payment Terms
To book your trip, please submit your booking request in writing to your travel advisor. We will confirm the availability of the trip within 2 business days. A deposit of 40% of the total trip amount will be required to confirm your booking. The balance of 60% must be paid no later than 30 days before the trip start date. In case of non-payment within this deadline, Korke reserves the right to cancel the booking.
b) Payment Terms for Australis Cruises
Your trip will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit, subject to availability. This includes both the cruise price and the trip price. A deposit of 40% of the total price will be required at booking. The balance of 60% of the trip amount is divided into two payments: 30% three months before departure and the remaining 30% thirty days before departure.
c) Payment Terms for Exploris Cruises
The trip will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit payment, subject to availability. This will include both the cruise price and the trip price. A deposit of 30% of the Antarctica cruise price and 40% of the trip price will be required. The balance of 70% of the cruise price must be paid no later than 75 days before departure, and the remaining 60% corresponding to the trip, 30 days before the start of the trip.
12. Special Requests
Modifications concerning accommodation, meals, etc. must be made in writing no later than one month before departure. Korke undertakes to do everything possible to satisfy you but cannot be held responsible if it is impossible to respond to your modification request.
13. Transportation
Air, train or any other transportation are provided by licensed carriers. They are required to comply with traffic regulation laws and are subject to weather conditions. Korke cannot be held responsible for modifications to services or the itinerary due to a failure caused by any of these factors.
14. Registration with Chilean and Other Authorities
Korke SpA is a Chilean company (RUT 76.090.044-3) registered with the National Tourism Service of Chile (SERNATUR).
15. Guides
The guides conducting Korke tours all have an official license. Upon request, and subject to availability, we can arrange for guides in different languages.
16. Contract between the Parties
This contract is governed by Chilean Law. In case of legal action, the competent court shall be the Chilean court.
